Happy New Year!!

To all my family, friends and clients of 2006, may I take this opportunity to wish you all the best in 2007.

2006 was an amazing year both personally and for NightinGail Photography. NightinGail completed 21 weddings throughout Ontario which also included engagement portraits as well as family and children's portraits as well so we were extremely busy. 2007 is shaping up to be just as busy and we are delighted to continue to provide "passionate wedding photography" to all our clients. Bookings for 2008 are also being confirmed as we speak.

On a personal note, 2006 brought new babies to our family.. a new grandson, Owen in September and a new niece, Chloe, in December. My daughter, Jennifer, married the love of her life, Wesley on November 4th and they are expecting their first child in late February.

We had a wonderful Christmas season with friends and family but are looking forward to many new changes and challenges for 2007.

I will keep you posted as things firm up. We and NightinGail Photography are moving into a new home with studio space at the end of February... but more on that as we get closer.

Once again.. may you all have a happy and prosperous New Year.

Busy Busy Busy

NightinGail has been going full steam since the last post. With weddings every weekend now through the end of September plus engagement and portrait shoots, things have been going great guns. New images will be coming shortly.

I've also had the opportunity to work again with Andrew Adams and will be posting some images from the latest wedding with him in the next few days.

Bookings are filling up for the remainder of 2006 and 2007 is filling up quickly. The revised website should be up and on-line by the end of September. The new site will have lots of updated images and fun information for wedding couples.

Have a great rest of the summer!!!

Update - July 11

NightinGail Photography has been extremely busy with a number of commissions including having the opportunity to work with fabulous photographers like Judy Cormier (Elementz of Fotographie) , Andrew Adams (Andrew Adams Photography and I'm with him again this coming weekend) , Andy Anderson (Andy Anderson Photography) and Shiri Shapiro (Focus Studios).

So I've been busy processing images and getting ready to get into full swing for NightinGail's weddings season. I've completed a number of my engagement sessions for my clients and images will be coming shortly.

My website is currently in a bit of transition and a couple of pages are not working the way they should. Please bear with me while I get the bugs out since the move to a new hosting company.

Off to Kingston - June 23

NightinGail Photography is off to Kingston, Ontario today. I am shooting a wedding with A.C. Armstrong from Tennessee on Saturday, June 24th. It will be great fun as this is one of Andy's hockey buddies who is formerly from the Kingston area. I'll get a chance to visit my Mom too.

On the way through from Barrie to Kingston, I'll be dropping in to see my Grandpa and Grandma. They are both going strong for 101 and 97 respectively.

On Sunday, June 25, some of the NoBS Inner Circle Forum members are meeting up in Kingston for an afternoon of fantastic shooting. Everyone is really looking forward to that. It will be a great time to network with other photographers which is always informative and helpful.

I've had the opportunity to second shoot a couple of times with Judy Cormier (Elementz of Fotographie) and Andrew Adams (Andrew Adams Photography). Both of these individuals are extremely talented and it was a great learning experience working with both. Thanks, guys .. for the opportunity to pick your brains and watch your creative flows with your clients.

More when I get home next week.
